What is the difference between REET Level 1 and Level 2?

REET Level 1 is for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1-5 (primary level) in Rajasthan government schools. Level 2 is for candidates aiming to teach Classes 6-8 (upper primary level). Level 1 requires D.El.Ed or equivalent diploma in elementary education, while Level 2 requires a Bachelor's degree with B.Ed. No, clearing REET only makes you eligible to apply for Rajasthan government teacher recruitment — it does not guarantee appointment. After clearing REET, candidates must appear for the actual RPSC Grade II (Senior Teacher) or Grade III (Third Grade Teacher) recruitment exam.
