Physics had Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Optics, Modern Physics, and Waves. Chemistry covered Chemical Bonding, Organic Chemistry, and Electrochemistry. Mathematics focused on Integration, Differential Equations, and Probability.
January 2025 Shift 1 was moderately difficult. Mathematics was the toughest with lengthy integration problems. Chemistry was straightforward with NCERT-based questions.
Each subject had 20 single-correct MCQs (+4/-1) and 5 compulsory numerical questions (+4/0) — 75 questions in total, to be attempted in 180 minutes. The optional Section B pattern was discontinued from 2025.
