Preparation Tips
- 1Study CGBSE/SCERT Chhattisgarh textbooks alongside NCERT; CG-specific content on Bastar's tribal art (Dhokra casting, Gond painting), Chhattisgarhi dialect, Chhattisgarhian history, and forest resources appears in EVS and Social Studies.
- 2Focus on Piaget's concrete operational stage theories and their application in tribal school settings; also study Paulo Freire's critical pedagogy and John Dewey's learning-by-doing as these are increasingly referenced in CGTET pedagogy questions.
- 3For Child Development & Pedagogy, master inclusive education principles including RTE 2009's provisions for tribal and scheduled caste children, the concept of neighbourhood schools, and barrier-free education.
- 4Practice previous CG TET papers and also study MP TET papers, as Chhattisgarh was carved from Madhya Pradesh in 2000 and shares similar educational traditions, curriculum frameworks, and exam patterns.
