ECIL GET earns a starting CTC of approximately ₹6–₹8 LPA including basic pay, DA, HRA, and other allowances during training. After confirmation as Engineer Grade-II, the CTC increases to ₹8–₹12 LPA depending on location and performance.

ECIL primarily recruits GET candidates from Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Instrumentation engineering streams. The exam is technical and discipline-specific. ECIL also occasionally recruits from Mechanical and Civil engineering for support roles.

ECIL is a government defence electronics PSU under DAE (Department of Atomic Energy). It develops products for nuclear power plants, defence communication systems, EVMs, and strategic electronics. GETs work on R&D projects, system integration, production, and testing of strategic equipment.

Yes, ECIL GETs are typically required to sign a training bond of ₹1–₹2 lakh for 2 years of training. If a trainee leaves before completing the bond period, they must pay the bond amount. This is standard practice for most PSU engineer trainee programmes.
