What is the BOB PGDBF program?

The Bank of Baroda Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) is a 2-year flagship program offered in collaboration with Manipal University. Selected candidates undergo 1 year of classroom training at Manipal followed by 1 year of on-the-job training at BOB branches. What is the salary during and after the PGDBF program?

During the 1-year Manipal training phase, candidates receive a stipend of approximately Rs. 2,500 per month. During the 1-year on-the-job training phase, a stipend of around Rs. 10,000 per month is provided. After absorption as a full-time Probationary Officer, the pay scale starts at Rs. 36,000-63,840 per month including DA and other allowances. This is significantly higher than many smaller private bank PO salaries of Rs. 25,000-40,000.
