What is the FMGE 2027 exam pattern?

FMGE 2027 has 300 MCQs from all MBBS subjects. Duration is 300 minutes (5 hours) split into two sessions of 150 minutes each. No negative marking — +1 for correct, 0 for incorrect. Passing score is 150 out of 300 (50%).

What is the FMGE pass percentage?

FMGE has historically had a very low pass rate — typically 15-25% per session. The June 2023 session had a 19.7% pass rate. Proper preparation using Indian standard textbooks is essential for clearing FMGE.

How many times can a candidate appear for FMGE?

There is no limit on the number of FMGE attempts. Candidates can appear in both June and December sessions each year. However, the NMC has proposed changes to limit attempts, so checking latest NMC guidelines is advisable.

Which countries are exempted from FMGE?
