Expert Preparation Tips
Kerala's KTET has a strong emphasis on pedagogical knowledge; study Piaget, Vygotsky, Bruner, and Gardner's Multiple Intelligences theory as all are regularly tested in Category 1–3 papers.
For the Malayalam language section, practice comprehension of classical and modern Malayalam prose and poetry, grammar, and language teaching methodologies as outlined in Kerala Curriculum Framework.
Study Kerala's education system, SCERT Kerala textbooks, and the unique aspects of Kerala's school curriculum including activity-based learning and co-scholastic assessment approaches.
For KTET Category 3 (High School), master your subject area at Class 9–10 SCERT level and focus on subject-specific pedagogy; Kerala places high emphasis on conceptual clarity and problem-solving approaches.
