Expert Preparation Tips
Study SCERT Maharashtra (Balbharati) textbooks for all subjects; Maharashtra's state curriculum has unique content in History (Maratha Empire, Shivaji Maharaj), Geography, and Science that directly appears in MAHATET Paper 2.
Focus on constructivist learning theories and their application in Marathi-medium classrooms; MAHATET pedagogy increasingly tests NEP 2020 concepts including mother tongue-based multilingual education.
For the Marathi language section, practice grammar, comprehension of Marathi prose and poetry, and language teaching methodology; study Marathi teaching approaches from SCERT Maharashtra's language education framework.
Maharashtra's diverse geography (Konkan, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Western Ghats) and rich history are frequently tested in EVS and Social Studies; study Maharashtra's physical features, agriculture, and cultural traditions.
