Expert Preparation Tips
Study Odisha-specific topics deeply — Odisha history from Kalinga era to modern freedom movement, mineral resources (coal, iron ore, bauxite), tribal communities, and major government schemes like KALIA and Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana.
For GS Paper II (Aptitude & Reasoning), practice Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, and Decision-Making questions at CSAT level — clear the cut-off first, then focus on scoring high in GS Paper I.
Revise Odia Language grammar thoroughly; study Odia sandhi, karak, vibhakti, and practice comprehension passages from standard Odia textbooks used in Class IX–X Odisha Board.
Maintain a negative marking strategy — attempt only those questions where confidence is high (above 70%); guessing 50-50 questions leads to net mark loss in OAS Prelims.
