Preparation Tips
- 1Focus heavily on the Visual Sensitivity Test (VST) section — practice identifying design principles, visual hierarchy, and aesthetic judgement in everyday objects and spaces.
- 2Develop systematic problem-solving skills for design scenarios: practice breaking down a design problem into user needs, constraints, and creative solutions.
- 3Sketch daily for at least 20–30 minutes to build speed and quality for Part B drawing questions, focusing on perspective, proportion, and ideation sketches.
- 4Solve past UCEED papers and NID DAT papers to familiarise yourself with the level of visual reasoning and design observation expected.
