Banaras Hindu University PhD Entrance Test (PET)

BHU PET is a 90-minute CBT with 100 questions (80 domain knowledge + 20 research methodology) worth 100 marks with a −0.25 negative marking. The exam is conducted separately for each department and discipline. BHU offers PhD programs across hundreds of specializations in sciences, humanities, social sciences, education, law, medicine, and engineering.
