Which two sections should I choose for GATE XE?

If you have a Mechanical background, choose Fluid Mechanics + Thermodynamics. For Chemical, choose Thermodynamics + Fluid Mechanics or Materials Science. For Metallurgy, choose Materials Science + Solid Mechanics. Choose based on your academic strengths.

What colleges accept GATE XE scores?

Many IITs and NITs accept GATE XE for MTech admission in interdisciplinary areas. IISc accepts GATE XE for its Interdisciplinary Science programme. Materials Research, Food Technology, and Atmospheric Science departments commonly use GATE XE scores.
