Accepted Answer

Bihar TET offers multiple Language II options to accommodate the diverse linguistic demographics of the state. Candidates can choose from Maithili, Urdu, Bengali, or English as their second language. This makes BTET accessible to candidates from Mithila, Muslim-majority areas, and border regions with West Bengal.

What teaching jobs can I apply for after clearing BTET?

Accepted Answer

BTET qualification makes you eligible for Primary Teacher posts (Classes 1–5) with Paper 1 clearance and Upper Primary Teacher posts (Classes 6–8) with Paper 2 clearance in Bihar government schools. Recruitment is managed by BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) for teacher posts, and BTET score is a mandatory eligibility criterion.

Question 4

What is the syllabus for BTET Paper 2 subject section?

Accepted Answer

BTET Paper 2 subject section carries 60 marks and covers either Mathematics and Science (for Math/Science teachers) or Social Studies (for Social Studies teachers).
